Will joined Elert & Associates in July of 2000 as senior multimedia systems designer, after working in management positions at two audiovisual (A/V) integration companies that included sales, marketing, design, and installation responsibilities. In 2000, Will received the top A/V industry design certification, the CTS-D from InfoComm International, and holds the Construction Specifications Institute’s CDT certification as well. He regularly attends national conferences and seminars, including the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) and InfoComm. He specializes in the design and management of unique and complex projects, and is committed to the training and development of the next generation of great audiovisual designers/consultants.
Will’s formal education includes a BA degree from Carleton College in Northfield, MN, with a major in Economics and a concentration in Technology & Policy Studies. His continuing education includes classes and seminars from the International Communication Industries Association, the Communication Specification Institute, the Mayo Clinic Foundation, and technology manufacturers of all kinds.
Will enjoys time spent with his wife and two sons, and volunteers in various mentoring, ministry, and career counseling capacities at Carleton College, where he still plays Ultimate Frisbee nine months out of the year.
