Elert & Associates provided complete technology design integrating with electrical and mechanical drawings.
E&A also provided rough and detailed drawings and specifications for all systems, developed bidding packages, developed budgets, and provided system software and hardware recommendations.
Elert & Associates is currently in the process of contract administration, overseeing the implementation of systems. This work was conducted for 13 renovated and 7 new buildings in their $315 million bond program.
Systems included data infrastructure cabling, telephony, network electronics, educational technology support systems including multimedia systems, network security, physical security, and data network operation center.
Testimonial – School District of Pickens County
The IPTV designed by Elert & Associates and implemented at the School District of Pickens County saved the district over $165,000 and will now be used as a model for the State's E-TV system.
In competitively bidding the telephone system, E&A saved the district over $294,420 on VoIP equipment based on prices received prior to E&A's design and the bidding process.
E&A's fees on both projects were a fraction of the monies saved.
