MacPhail Center for Music is one of the nations top Centers for music education.

Established by William S. MacPhail in 1907, the MacPhail School of Violin, as it was first known, became a vital part of the fabric of organizations that make the Twin Cities a vibrant arts community.

Due to overwhelming popularity of its programs, the school needed more space to educate and enhance the lives of its students and the Twin Cities community.

As in the past, the present is no different. MacPhail Center for Music is still as popular as ever and needs more space to continue to enrich our lives with music and music education.

Selecting local architect, James Dayton, the Center has broken ground on a new Center in September of 2006.

This new site fills the need for an all-community music learning space and serves as an outsourcing hub for music education programs across the state of Minnesota.

Elert & Associates was chosen as the telecommunications consultant assisting the Center with the design and implementation of its communications and networking systems.
