Houston ISD New Administration Building / Data Center

Elert & Associates was retained in 2004 to provide comprehensive technology consulting services for a new 300,000 square foot administration building.

E&A worked closely with the Owner and their Architect to guide the building program related to the Data Center / Network Operations Center.

E&A's additional responsibilities included design for the new primary Data Center and Network Operations Center (NOC), training facilities, a new boardroom, executive board conference room, conference rooms, TV / video production studios, building security, video surveillance, and a new VoIP telephone system.

The HISD System includes over 300 facilities served by the primary data center.
