Project Profile: Cleveland Cavaliers Cleveland Clinic Courts Training Facility
Cleveland Clinic Courts has set the gold standard for professional training facilities. Located on a wooded site in Independence, Ohio, the facility features rustic-contemporary wood timber and stone construction, with attention focused on creating a warm atmosphere connected to its remote wooded surroundings.
E&A worked closely with the architect and the Cleveland Cavaliers to design the technology and security systems throughout the Cavaliers’ new practice facility. The project included the following:
- Premise security access control, including a card reader system with integrated intercom and remote door release and gate control abilities
- Video security surveillance system, including fixed and pant/tilt/zoom cameras and recording system covering the inside and perimeter of the facility
- Integration of new security systems to existing systems installed at the previous practice facility and location where games are played (Quicken Loan Arena)
- Voice, data, and video premise infrastructure system including high-speed data systems necessary to support voice over IP (VoIP) and video over IP technologies.
